Georgia is state in southeastern United States. It is a British colony in 1733 the last and southernmost of the time thirteen colonies to be established. It is known as peach state and the empire state of the south. Atlanta is the state capital and most Populous city and it’s name is a global city. It is bordered to the north by tennessee and North carolina and to the north east by south carolina and to the southeast by the Atlantic ocean and to the south south florida and the West by Alabama.
HistoryGeorgia was inhabited by the mound building cultures. On February 12 1733 the British colony of Georgia was founded by James oglethorpe.
