Kabaddi is a game of Indian origin on its manner to extinction, but is now regaining popularity. It is common in South Asia and other Asian nations surrounding it. It is the state game of the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Bihar, Haryana, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. There are several game types, but most of them require two teams of seven players each, each with their own assigned region. Players must raid the region of the other team and attempt to touch one of their players, making the player "out" touched.
